COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND
The Dalby Leagues Club Community Benefit Fund (DLCCBF) was established in 2014 with the aim of returning a portion of the club's profits to the Dalby and District community. Applications for funding are processed and assessed by the Community Benefit Funds Committee (CBFC) on a bi-annual cycle, with reviews conducted in March and September. The primary objective of the DLCCBF is to allocate funding to not-for-profit community groups. This funding endeavour is designed to enhance their capacity to provide an array of services, leisure activities, and opportunities for the community of Dalby and District.
PRIORITY AREAS FOR FUNDING
The Dalby Leagues Club meticulously prioritises funding for activities or opportunities that provide enduring and substantial community benefit in the following areas:
Community
Education
Health
Indigenous Safety
Sport
Youth
EXAMPLES OF PROJECTS
Projects that reflect enduring community benefit and contribute positively to the development and welfare of the community shall be considered for funding. These may include, but are not limited to: Procurement of essential equipment Contribution to building or infrastructure enhancement endeavours Development and enrichment of comprehensive training programs
CRITERIA FOR FUNDING
Exclusions from the DLCCBF encompass an array of endeavours, including but not limited to:
Individual applications, including those for academic studies or travel Requests affiliated with political organisations or campaigns
Support extended to religious organisations for purposes exclusively benefiting their religious agendas
Third-party applications
Retrospective activities
Projects primarily driven by commercial objectives or those organised primarily for fundraising purposes
Involvement with governmental or local council initiatives
Projects eligible for grant funding shall be assessed based on their enduring benefits to the community, enhancement of community operations through innovative programs, infrastructure or equipment enhancement, and augmentation of organisational capabilities. Projects requesting funding for administrative costs, overheads, routine operations, working capital, debt finance, service financing arrangements, or travel costs will not be considered. Funding Limits and Application Frequency Eligible organizations are invited to apply for funding within the range of $500 to $25,000, inclusively of GST. Each organization is entitled to submit one application per funding round to DLCBF, provided it does not hold an existing open grant agreement with DLCBFC.
CLOSING DATES
Funding rounds open approximately four weeks prior to the closing date. The closing dates for applications are:

ACQUITTAL
Successful applicants are required to submit a comprehensive project/financial report within six (6) weeks of the project's completion date. Failure to adhere to this requirement may impact the organization's eligibility for future funding endeavors.
