Dalby Leagues Club Code of Conduct for Members and Visitors

At Dalby Leagues Club, we pride ourselves on fostering a welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all. To maintain these standards, we ask all members and visitors to adhere to the following Code of Conduct:

Members’ Responsibilities

Members are required to:

Comply with Club Rules: Abide by the Constitution of the Club and all policies that apply lawfully from time to time.

Uphold the Club’s Reputation: Avoid any actions or behaviour that may tarnish the Club’s reputation or bring disrepute to other members, visitors, or staff.

Represent the Club Appropriately: Only represent the Club if authorized as a director, secretary, staff member, or contractor.

 

Members and Visitors’ Responsibilities While on Club Premises

All members and visitors must:

Respect Others: Ensure the right of others to enjoy the Club’s facilities and services.

Maintain Courtesy: Behave courteously and with respect at all times.

Promote Safety: Avoid actions or behaviours that could compromise the health and safety of others, including members, visitors, or staff.

Prevent Misconduct: Refrain from bullying, harassment, or discrimination against anyone on Club premises.

Protect Privacy: Respect the privacy of other members, visitors, and staff.

Follow Club Rules: Adhere to all Club policies, signage, and lawful directions given by staff.

Provide Identification: Access the Club with appropriate identification and complete sign-in requirements as required.

Supervise Children: Ensure children are always accompanied by a responsible adult.

Purchase Food and Drinks On-Site: Consume only food and beverages purchased from the Club.

Illegal Substances: Must not possess or use illegal drugs or any other materials prohibited under applicable laws, including the Criminal Code (QLD) or the Crimes Act (Cth).

Care for Club Property: Handle all Club property with care and diligence.

Obtain Permission for Activities: Avoid arranging or participating in activities involving external fees without prior written approval from the General Manager.

Follow the Dress Code: Comply with the Club’s established dress standards.

Comply with Directions to Leave: Leave the premises promptly if requested by the General Manager or their delegate (e.g. Duty Manager, or Supervisor) and refrain from re-entering or attempting to re-enter without authorization.

Acknowledge CCTV Usage: Be aware that the Club uses closed-circuit television (CCTV) for security purposes, and activities may be recorded.
